Join our team as a Non-Executive Directors and Audit and Risk Assurance Committee Members

We are looking for individuals, with a drive to ensure high standards in the Welsh education and training system, to join our Strategy Board and Audit and Risk Assurance Committee from September 2026.  

You will provide an external perspective to discussions, as well as independent constructive challenge – broadening our thinking with your diverse experiences. Your input will help to ensure that we continue to develop as a modern public sector organisation. 

Successful applicants will have significant experience or skills in one or more of the following areas: 

  • Leadership 
  • Strategic thinking 
  • Financial management (for at least one of the roles) 
  • Measuring and managing performance 
  • Understanding of public sector organisations 
  • Background in education and training
  • Governance
  • Audit and risk management
