We are delighted to invite secondary teachers and heads of mathematics departments to join us for the Dysgu Maths Roadshow, in partnership with Estyn —an opportunity to explore evidence-based strategies that strengthen mathematics teaching, leadership and learner outcomes.


The training will include:

  • Unlocking improvement in mathematics teaching and leadership
  • What works in mathematics education: evidence and impact
  • Effective strategies and methods for teaching mathematics
  • Maximising the use of improvement resources
  • Self-evaluation and reflective practice
  • Gathering and using first-hand evidence effectively
  • Developing mathematics-specific improvement plans

Event Dates and Venues

Choose from a morning or afternoon session:

  • Thursday, 26 February – Galeri, Caernarfon (both sessions will be delivered bilingually)

Please note that all bilingual sessions will include simultaneous Welsh to English translation support.

Morning session:

09:00 – 09:30      Registration

13:30 – 14:00      Registration
14:00 – 16:45      Training

How to Register:

  • Each school may book up to two places.
  • Places are limited (40 per session) and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The deadline for registration is midday Monday, 16 February. We advise early registration to avoid disappointment.
