Registered Nursery Inspector Opportunity 

Would you like to develop your professional skills and contribute to improvement in your sector?

We’re looking for candidates with qualified teacher status and foundation learning experience to become Registered Nursery Inspectors. 

Registered Nursery Inspectors are a key part of our inspection teams. If you qualify as a Registered Nursery Inspector, you’ll: 

• Lead and manage inspections of non-maintained settings that are led by Estyn;  

• Carry out the work of a team inspector on inspections led by Care Inspectorate Wales  

As a Registered Nursery Inspector, you’ll be making an invaluable contribution to Estyn inspections. You’ll get a unique opportunity to see effective practice in action, and to take these examples back to your setting to support improvement. We offer training and, if completed successfully, will add you to our register of Registered Nursery Inspectors. You can then start to tender for work in the non-maintained sector.
