Peer inspector recruitment – Youth Work sector
Would you like to develop your professional skills and contribute to improvement in your sector?
We’re looking for senior leaders in the youth work sector to become Peer Inspectors.
If you have at least three years’ experience in the field, a professionally endorsed qualification in Youth Work and have worked in a quality role in Youth Work, we would like to hear from you.
Peer Inspectors are a key part of our inspection team. They use their knowledge and skills to observe activities, talk with learners and staff, and gather first-hand evidence about the life and work of the youth work provider.
As a Peer Inspector, you’ll make an invaluable contribution to Estyn inspections. You’ll get a unique opportunity to see effective practice in action, and to take these examples back to your setting to support improvement.
We offer training which, if completed successfully, will add you to our register of Peer Inspectors.
We particularly welcome those from diverse backgrounds and those working in the medium of Welsh to apply.
Closing date: midday, 4 March 2026
Successful candidates will be notified week commencing 16 March 2026.
