Secondary Peer and Additional Inspectors

We’re recruiting for Peer and Additional Inspectors to work with us on our secondary inspections.
Applications are welcomed from individual applicants who have:
- at least two years’ experience in a senior leadership role, (Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher, Teacher in Charge of a PRU)
- at least 5 years’ teaching experience
- support from your Headteacher/Teacher in Charge or Chair of Trustees, or your Proprietor or Chair of Governors (if you’re a Headteacher/Teacher in Charge yourself) to attend the course and to be deployed as a peer inspector (inspections in the secondary sector take place between September and the end of the first half of the summer term)
You must currently be working in the secondary sector to be eligible for the Peer Inspector role.
Additional Inspectors are inspectors who have experience of leading in the secondary sector but have or are about to retire or leave. They tender for work.
Recruitment starts from Monday 10 March – Wednesday 9 April 2025
