Learning & Development and Organisational Development Partner


We’re looking for a L&D and OD Partner to support key initiatives across Learning & Development (L&D), Organisational Development (OD), and general People operations. This role focuses on employee development and engagement strategies.

Key tasks include:

  • Partnering with managers to conduct training needs analysis, inform the organisations learning and development strategy and to promote career progression and retention.
  • Develop and deliver tailored learning solutions to address skill gaps and support employee growth.
  • Support the People and OD Manager with the delivery of talent management and succession planning initiatives
  • Manage and oversee induction programs for new hires, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences.
  • Support the People and OD Manager in communicating People policy changes through engaging and innovative training programs.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including annual surveys, and develop strategies to address identified needs.
  • Managing the learning and development budget in accordance with organisational governance arrangements
  • Line management of People/OD Advisors providing guidance and advice on general HR matters, development opportunities, and performance management.
  • Support equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, including supporting managers with completion of equality impact assessments  
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programmes and adjust strategies to meet evolving organisational needs.
  • Designing, reviewing, and implementing Estyn’s benefits package and recognition programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Attend relevant internal meetings including committees, boards and groups and deputise for the People and OD Manager where necessary
  • Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required.

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £35,787 – £43,758 per annum

Work hours and flexible working: Full time hours are 37 hours over a five-day week (Monday to Friday), excluding breaks.
